May is Ehlers-Danlos Awareness Month

As this blog is centered around raising awareness, I would like to discuss some of the activities I have undertaken so far. Firstly, through the Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome foundation, I initiated a fundraising campaign and am participating in a walking challenge. In addition, I have contacted the Governor of Missouri and the facility management of the Missouri State Capitol via email to request a proclamation to light up the Capitol on May 4th. As of now, 28 states are pending, and Missouri marks the 29th state where I have submitted a request today. Observing which states will come forward and contribute to spreading awareness will be interesting.
