Who is The Zebra Medic®?
Meet Jessy, a highly experienced paramedic with over 20 years of experience in both Germany and the USA. Diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a rare connective tissue disorder, she combines her medical expertise with personal insights to advocate for patients with rare diseases.
Jessy currently serves in a leadership role at a medical office specializing in innovative therapies and emerging medical treatments. She conducts research as a CITI-certified professional while continuing her education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and is pursuing a Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Her ultimate goal is to obtain a PhD in Social Psychology, focusing on the intersection of psychosocial factors and rare diseases.
