Braces & Splints & Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome

Writer's picture: Jessy Jessy

I often get asked what kind of braces I prefer. I have one brand that I like best. It’s the Bauerfeind brand. They have a soft woven knit material, and I find it breathable without being too restricting and causing me pressure sores like several other brands do. I recently ordered my 3rd pair of Malleo Train Braces for my ankles. Sometimes insurance covers them. I admit they are expensive but worth every penny; they wash great and last me several years.

Luckily Amazon sells them too! Here is the link: Bauerfeind

Another good source for other types of braces or assistive devices is Ober Health.
